Whitebait-TV is a world-class, purpose-built television
production and post production facility. Opened in early 2009, it
features two television studios including one of the largest in the
country at 594m2 and a control room especially designed to
broadcast live to national and international networks - all
available for hire.
With chandelier-lined corridors, beautifully-appointed
greenrooms, comprehensive production offices and fully-equipped
wardrobe, makeup and art departments Whitebait-TV is geared to
provide an extensive range of production and post production
services including editing, audio post production and
animation.
The facility is backed by Whitebait-TV's highly experienced and
professional team who have worked together to produce creative and
award-winning content for networks and corporates for more than a
decade.
Currently on air are:
- What Now, a 2
hour live show and New Zealand's longest running and highest rating
children's programme
- The
Erin Simpson Show, a magazine-style infotainment show for teens
and tweens screening weekdays
- and Animal
Academy a weekly information-based programme for and about
people who love animals.
Whitebait-TV is helmed by Janine Morrell-Gunn, the powerhouse
behind the business and producer of many iconic NZ TV programmes
over the past 20 years, and Jason Gunn, who after 25 years on the
box is one of the nation's most-recognisable and most-loved NZ
television presenters.
