In the Community

Whitebait-TV is proud to have the support of our local Christchurch community and we’re committed to paying it forward. We help out local charities by producing fund-raising videos and providing our presenters for their events – and we have a couple of own special initiatives:

Set up following the devastating February 2011 earthquake by Janine, Jason and the Whitebait-TV team. 100% of the money raised goes to affected families in need that have been nominated by school principals, social workers and electorate offices. To date the charity has supported over 600 families and raised over NZ $800,000.

The White Lights of Hope

Bringing a symbolic ray of hope to Cantabrians, two beams shine every night from Christchurch's darkened CBD.  Inspired by New York's Twin Towers "Tribute in Light", Janine and the Whitebait team worked with Westpac and other corporates to install the giant lights that will beam skywards every night until February 23 2012.
